Acid attacks are abhorrent acts that must come to a halt. Not only does it leave a mark on a person's skin, but it also misrepresents them as being a stigma in society. I believe that the offender should receive a life sentence. Because skin treatment is one of the most expensive treatments, compensation should be offered to the survivors by the government if not by the perpetuator. The offender should make up the difference between basic and advanced levels of care.
